A heritage of renowned accomplishment

In 1978 Tom Johnson purchased the first loom to weave multicolor luggage security straps sold through mail order catalogs. Prior to this, his father and founder, Edwin, had established a successful niche selling his patented Kelvoc Fastener which they sewed or riveted to webbing as military tie-downs and banding straps for the ceramics industry.

Tom Johnson, following in his father’s foot steps, created the WOV-IN® Line by developing various ground-breaking methods for weaving text and unique patterns into webbing. Those original woven straps evolved into tens and then hundreds of custom woven accessory products and WOV-IN® Line found a natural home in the Promotional Products industry.

Tradition is dedication

All three of the Johnsons’ third generation are now working to proudly continue the heritage of dedication that has been established before them.
